Taste the famous Hyderabad Biryani

Hyderabad's dedication to fine dining has been unshakeable for many centuries, especially among the upper classes. All through the centuries, the Nizams of Hyderabad were known for their love for fine dining and good taste. One of these rulers, Nizam Mir Osman Ali, was known for creating his own dishes which are still cooked today.

Hyderabad, in present times, is known for the distinctive aroma and taste of its Biryani, a dish of rice and mutton or chicken.

Even though vegetables form a major part of Indian, but Mughal cuisine often features goat and lamb which is served in a variety of ways. You can have goat or lamb meat in the form of kababs, roasted, barbecued, or in curries. However, Mughal food is also vegetarian, and features lentils, peas, and beans, and is usually spicy.
